Phil Costello

Phil Costello is a New York City musician and entertainer originally from Napa Valley. He is a founding member of the band Satanicide, whose self-produced short film “Jersey Knights” was an Official Selection in the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. Phil was also a founding member of Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees; and Diamondsnake with multi-platinum artist Moby.

In addition to portraying Mathias Backwards in “Witch Taint: The Black Metal Dialogues,” Phil played the role of homeless, autistic bodyguard “Phil” in the Mojo Network hit “The King of Miami with Dave Hill.” He also plays guitar in the hot rock band Valley Lodge. Currently, Phil is in the last stages of completing “Skyscraper,” an epic, heavy metal odyssey of architectural innuendo, composed with Thrillist Executive Editor David Blend. Everyone is going to lose their minds.
