Carlos Alazraqui

Carlos Alazraqui voices “Rocko,” reprising his role as a wallaby who emigrated from Australia to the United States and enjoys the simple things in life, in Nickelodeon’s all-new original TV special, Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling, based on the classic ‘90s hit.

Alazraqui has been a mainstay in the entertainment industry as a standup comic for over 25 years, a well-known television/film actor and one of Los Angeles’s top voiceover actors with hundreds of credits to his name. Not just the face of Deputy James Garcia on hit show Reno 911! or Reno 911!: Miami the movie, Alazraqui also recently won the prestigious Annie Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Voice Acting in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production” for his guest role on The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show.

Television and film audiences will recognize Alazraqui from recent roles in Kevin Can Wait, Jane the Virgin, Bones, Adam Ruins Everything, Mutt and Stuff, Crossroads of History, and The Funhouse Massacre. Upcoming films include: Dance Baby Dance and Take the Ten. His notable Nickelodeon voice roles include Rocko and Spunky on Rocko’s Modern Life and Mr. Crocker on long running series The Fairly OddParents. Additional television voiceover credits include Sofia The First, The Family Guy, Camp Lazlo, Justice League Doom, The New Adventures of Puss In Boots, Elena of Avalor, and Unlovable. Alazraqui has also lent his voice to films such as Planes, Free Birds, Happy Feet, Happy Feet 2, The Book of Life, and Inside Out. One of his most famous roles was the voice of “The Taco Bell Chihuahua” for Taco Bell.

Additionally, he is currently developing his own half-hour series, Good Moring Iowa, serves as executive producer on the animated series Let it Beard and live-action series Fun Squad, is the creator and executive producer of Uncommon Ground, and is producing his own cartoon web series, Off The Curb. Alazraqui’s writing credits include: The Rip Squad, Spiritology, and short films The Last White Dishwasher and Head Games. 

Outside of acting, Alazraqui works every Wednesday on his “Coffee With Carlos” segment on the Stephanie Miller Radio Show on Free Speech Radio and is an avid tennis player and sports enthusiast. Alazraqui currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
