“New Negro” is a term made popular during the Harlem Renaissance. It defined a movement of social and artistic awareness meant to expand notions of blackness. We decided to add to that recipe of intellectualism notions of Black Comedy, Alternative Comedy, and Black Alternative Comedy. $30
