The Great Debate presents: We're Friends Now!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The Great Debate's Matt Price and Ilyse Mimoun have been debating on-stage for over ten years. They've sold out shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco with electrifying topics like Ferris Bueller: Hero or Sociopath? and Don Draper vs Don(ald) Trump: Who Will Definitely Destroy America? However, with all of America’s constant fighting, Matt and Ilyse decided to stop contributing to the anger. So now they're trying to heal America by healing their friendship, one ridiculous topic at a time. As always, Matt and Ilyse will provide a list of topics for the audience to choose from, such as "The Weird Worms in Stranger Things" and "Your Breasts Look Amazing in That T-Shirt." But instead of attacking each other as they did in the past, Matt and Ilyse will try to empathize and listen to each other, using improvisation, song, and experimental new techniques such as “The Cleansing Corner,” “The Switcheroo” and “The Part Where They Just Sing Some Hamilton.” Will it work? Can a decade of bitterness be erased in an hour long comedy show? Can America’s deep divide be repaired? Let’s find out. Together. As Americans. Or as whatever you are. As long as you come to the show, we don’t care. $20
