SF Sketchfest Tribute to Jane Lynch

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

SF Sketchfest is proud to pay tribute to the wit, wisdom, and musical prowess of the great Jane Lynch. She's probably best known as the villainous gym coach Sue Sylvester in "Glee," a role which earned her an Emmy, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award. Lynch has also won two Emmy Awards as the host of NBC's "Hollywood Game Night." But one could say it all began with a cereal commercial (Frosted Flakes) directed by Christopher Guest that led to roles in his films "Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind," and "For Your Consideration," and appearances in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," "Wreck-It Ralph," and many more, including as one of the good doctors in "The Fugitive." She's been on shows, too (lots of shows), from "Arrested Development" to "Criminal Minds." She also hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live," which was a kind of culmination of her early years spent at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Second City. SF Sketchfest is delighted to bring Jane to San Francisco to sit down for a public but intimate chat with three of her friends and colleagues, Ian Brennan, Michael Hitchcock and John Michael Higgins. $30
